INFORMATION FOR VENDORS
ANYTHING TO SELL??
We accept goods from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Thursday.
We do not offer a collection service – you must deliver the goods to our sale rooms.
You will need to complete a Vendors Entry Form when you leave the goods – we require your name, address, telephone number and a list of the items. You can ring the auctions on 01527 517707 if you would like an entry form to be posted out to you.
There is no cut-off point for bringing goods in that will guarantee they will go into the next sale – we will store the items until a suitable sale is available, there is no charge for storage.
Our commission rate is 20% plus vat with a minimum commission of £10.00 plus vat per sale (not per lot).
All portable electric items will have to be tested for safety – the costs for this is £3.00 plus vat per item.
If you wish to put a reserve price on any item and it fails to sell at auction you will be charged 5% of the reserve price (plus vat) as a handling fee – any item that is not collected after the sale will be entered into the next sale without reserve.
Items will be entered into a maximum of 3 sales, if not sold after this they must either be collected or we will dispose of them.
Furniture must comply with current fire safety regulations.
We do not accept beds unless the mattresses are perfectly clean and unmarked.
We will not accept any goods that we believe are not in a saleable condition.
Our sales are held on Tuesdays at 6:00pm, weekly if we have enough items for a sale otherwise fortnightly.
Cheques for the net sale proceeds will be posted approximately 1 week after the sale.
